Department of Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases)

Our clinic was established in 1973 as the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) and continues its work as a distinct Department. The Department of Otorhinolaryngology has 1 clinic, 34 beds, 1 isolated room and an intensive care unit of 4 beds in total; Prof. Dr. Mehmet AKDAĞ continues to serve as Head of the Department. 8 faculty members, 8 residents, 9 nurses and 6 staff work here. In addition, next to the outpatient clinic room, there is an audiometry room where hearing tests are carried out, together with a faculty member's examination room. Furthermore, in the basement floor of what later became the oncology building, there are rooms under the name of the hearing center where BERA and other tests are performed.
