Department of Emergency Medicine

The activity purpose of the Department is to provide the diagnosis and treatment of patients presenting to the emergency department at international standards, to reduce the length of patients' stay in the emergency department, to plan the training of medical faculty students, residents and auxiliary staff, and to ensure the improvement of the quality and quantity of education and scientific research. In addition, it is to ensure the improvement of the physical and infrastructural conditions of the emergency department in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Health, to work towards expanding postgraduate emergency medicine training, to ensure the transfer of patients to an appropriate hospital by working in coordination with other units and emergency departments, and to plan congresses and symposia related to emergency medicine.
