The Department of Qur'anic Recitation and Qiraat is a department that deals with issues such as reciting the Qur'an, which is the main source of Islam, in accordance with the rules of the Qur'an and pronouncing its words correctly. In this department, theoretical and practical training is given in order to recite the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of tajwit. In this department, in order to recite the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of the Qur'an, it is aimed to comprehend the science of Qiraat, which deals with different recitations on the words of the Qur'an and the recognition of different qiraats, the theoretical knowledge about the phonetics of the letters of the Qur'an, as well as the memorization practice of some surahs, the content of the Qur'an and the basic information about the subject distribution. It is recognized that different types of recitation related to the words of the Qur'an make a significant contribution to the tafsir of the Qur'an.
