The science of hadith, which is one of the two main pillars of Islam, mainly deals with the examination of the transmission of hadith texts from the Prophet to the present day within the framework of hadith methods and concepts and the proper understanding of these texts. The courses of this main discipline aim to examine the rich terminology of hadith and sunnah sciences, to deal with the transmission processes of hadith texts, and to convey how the texts attributed to the Prophet were understood by different scientific disciplines throughout Islamic history. In order to achieve the aforementioned goals in the branch of science, in addition to the History and Procedure of Hadith course, Hadith-1, Hadith-2 and Hadith-3 courses are taught in the undergraduate programs of our faculty, in which noteworthy passages from the basic hadith works are read, aiming to raise students' awareness of hadith texts.
