History of Philosophy

The History of Philosophy is a field of thinking and research that explores what philosophy is and how it developed from the emergence of various philosophical doctrines, the differences between these doctrines on the axis of existence, knowledge and value.

Philosophy is a field that satisfies the need of human beings, who are conscious beings who can think for themselves, to understand and learn, and gives intellectual pleasure and excitement arising from knowing or being aware.

In the History of Philosophy course, the emergence of philosophy, Ancient Greek schools of thought and their contributions to the history of thought, Hellenistic thought, Medieval thought, Renaissance, philosophical expansions in the New Age, Enlightenment thought and contemporary philosophical thought are taught.
