Dean's Message

Dear Students!

Welcome to the Faculty of Theology at Dicle University!

It is a great honor and responsibility to be the administrator of an established institution like Dicle University Theology Faculty, which has celebrated its 30th year. I hope that our faculty will leave a mark on all of your lives with academic knowledge, equipment and love.

It is our common goal to envision our faculty as an institution where scientific and free thinking inspired by the basic sources of religion thrives, ideas are freely expressed, shared and propagated.

Our mission as a faculty is to raise young people who think, question, discuss, have the ability to think scientifically and freely, benefit from historical acquis, analyze and interpret information, respect different beliefs and values, human rights and freedoms, environment and nature, national, spiritual, moral, ethical and universal values and cultural heritage.The presence of young people with the mission of theology will always keep our hopes for the future alive.

Our faculty provides opportunities for our students to engage in social, cultural, and sports activities that will help them grow alongside academic courses and scientific studies. To this end, there are 9 student clubs established by the students. Each of our students can participate in these clubs and develop themselves by participating in scientific, social, and cultural activities.

I firmly believe that we will achieve this goal together with all our faculty members and students by acting in love, respect, unity and solidarity, and by creating a peaceful and productive working environment together.

With the happiness and excitement of serving this institution, which I am proud to be a member of, I greet you all and wish all our faculty members, students and administrative staff success in their education and training life.
