BASIC QUALIFICATIONS OF GRADUATES
A graduate of Dicle University Medical Faculty;
is in full command of basic and clinical medical information,
applies the knowledge, skills and behaviors required by patient management rules aligned with contemporary medical approaches,
applies the necessary professional skills in the diagnosis and treatment of patients,
performs emergency medical care and interventions,
evaluates patients and diseases holistically, together with their biological, spiritual and social dimensions,
evaluates the effects of environmental factors on human health,
evaluates the effects of health systems, policies, and practices on individual and community health,
applies basic principles to protect and improve individual and community health,
acts in accordance with occupational values, ethical principles, and legal regulations,
performs his/her profession devotedly,
takes responsibility for lifelong learning and performs self-assessment regularly,
can reach appropriate information sources and make effective use of information technologies when applying his profession,
critically evaluates the scientific foundations of medical information based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, and
communicates effectively when applying his/her profession.
