Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
From 1985 to 1995, the Pediatric Surgery department served under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Gazi AYDIN with 9 beds. From 1995 to 1997, the General Surgery Clinic operated under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. İbrahim TAÇYILDIZ. Between 1997 and 2006, the Plastic Surgery Clinic was managed by Uzman Dr. İbrahim AŞKAR. The Acute Traumatology Service was under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALDEMİR from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, the Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery department was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet BOZKURT. Between 2013 and 2019, the Chairmanship of the Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department was held by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar SELÇUK. From October 14, 2019, until April 15, 2020, the department was headed by Prof. Dr. İsmail TOPÇU. Since April 15, 2020, it has been under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mehmet Fatih AKKOÇ, and continues to provide its services.
