Medical Education
The Cardiology education involves a total of 76 hours of practical and theoretical education offered in the third (24 hours) and fourth semesters (52 hours). During the fourth semester, students are trained on cardiac examination, bedside training, and clinical practice in small groups in cardiology laboratories.
Courses given in the third and fourth semesters include Introduction to Cardiology, Physical Examination, Atherosclerosis and Acute Coronary Syndromes, Heart Failure, Rheumatic Valve Diseases, Hypertension, Pulmonary Hypertension, Electrocardiography, Arrhythmias, Aortic Diseases, Syncope, Hypotension and Cardiogenic Shock.
