Graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1992.
Worked as a general practitioner in Denizli and Diyarbakır between 1992 and 1995.
Studied at the Department of Emergency Medicine at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine From 1995 to 1999.
Was appointed as a specialist physician to the Department of Emergency Medicine of Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1999.
Became an Assistant Professor in 2000.
Became an Associate professor in 2005.
Became a Professor in 2010.
Head of the Emergency Medicine Department since 2007.
A member of Ministry of Health Committee of Specialty Training Curriculum Development and Standard Setting.
