OUR DEPARTMENT
The Department of Turkish Language and Literature, which is within the Faculty of Letters of Dicle University, started its education-teaching activities with a quota of 40 students in the 1996/1997 Academic Year. The education-teaching activities of our department continued until the 2007-2008 academic year and the department did not accept students this year. Our department, which continues its education-teaching activities with undergraduate students admitted again in the 2008-2009 academic year, started to accept students in the evening education program as of the 2009-2010 academic year. There is a graduate education program in our department, and student recruitment to the doctoral program within the Department of Turkish Language and Literature has continued since 2012.
