History
The Faculty of Communication at Dicle University was established in 2010 with the decision 2010/103 of the Council of Ministers. The Faculty has three departments: Public Relations and Publicity, Journalism, and Radio, Television, and Cinema.
The Faculty began its educational journey in the 2016-2017 academic year with an initial quota of 40 students. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Faculty of Communication's Department of Public Relations and Publicity produced its first graduates.
The Faculty of Communication is committed to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the ever-evolving world of media and communication. The Faculty's faculty members are experts in their fields and are passionate about teaching and mentoring students. The Faculty also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience.
