Guidance and Psychological Counseling
Guidance and Psychological Counseling was defined as a sub-department of the Department of Educational Sciences with the 1982 Higher Education Council (YÖK) reform and took its place in the academic organization of the Faculty. The main purpose of the Department is to train expert personnel equipped with theoretical and applied knowledge and skills to provide guidance and psychological counseling services, particularly in guidance services of educational institutions and various fields where guidance and psychological counseling services are needed. Additionally, the program aims to educate individuals who can conduct research using psychological assessment tools in various areas focusing on individual and social development.
