About the Program

The increasing emphasis on employee health and the establishment of safe working environments have driven advancements in the field of occupational health and safety. As a result, there is a growing demand for human resources specialized in occupational health and safety across all sectors. The implementation of Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety has made it mandatory to employ occupational health and safety personnel, such as occupational safety specialists and workplace physicians, in both private and public sectors. Consequently, there is a rising demand for graduates of occupational health and safety programs.

The Occupational Health and Safety Program aims to train technical staff who can enhance employee health, assess and mitigate health hazards in the work environment, and ensure the suitability of job conditions for the anatomical, physiological, and psychological characteristics of employees. It focuses on creating a harmonious alignment between employee characteristics and job requirements.
