About the Program
The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the knowledge and skills related to natural building stones. In the first year, students receive foundational education on natural building stones. In the second year, the program continues with a combination of compulsory and elective courses.
During the second year, all students are exposed to the basic principles of quarry, factory, and workshop management through compulsory courses. Additionally, elective courses provide students with the opportunity to specialize in at least one of these three different operations, allowing them to fully develop their expertise in their chosen area of focus.
The presence of significant natural stone factories and quarries in Diyarbakır creates a valuable opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings. This practical application allows students to gain hands-on experience and accelerates their journey towards becoming experts in their respective fields.
The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and practical knowledge to succeed in the natural stone industry. By providing a balance between theoretical education and practical application, the program prepares students for professional excellence in their chosen specialization.
