About the Program

The Electricity Program is specifically designed to enhance students' practical skills in industry and laboratory settings, focusing on various aspects of electrically operated systems. The program covers topics such as operation and fault finding, electrical machinery and motors, transmission and distribution of electricity, as well as control and automation systems.

Our goal is to train competent technical personnel who possess comprehensive knowledge and immediate troubleshooting abilities in both electronics and electricity. Graduates of the program are equipped with the necessary expertise to work in the private and public sectors, and they have the potential to establish their own repair workshops if desired. Furthermore, they gain proficiency in designing electrical installations.

The program holds great significance for the industry, as graduates play a vital role in the establishment and smooth operation of various facilities. They contribute to the control, maintenance, and repair of electrical devices and instruments, ensuring uninterrupted production and efficient energy production, transmission, and distribution. With the title of "Electrical Technician," our graduates are highly regarded as qualified professionals.

The Electricity Program accepts 50 students in each academic year. Within the program, we offer nine fully equipped professional laboratories that actively support practical learning and experimentation.

Graduation Requirements

  • Total: 100 National credits and 120 ECTS
  • Compulsory Internship: 30 working days
  • Duration of training: 2 years

Access to Further Studies

Upon successful completion of the associate degree program in the Electricity Program, students have the opportunity to pursue vertical transfer to various undergraduate programs. To qualify for the transfer, students must achieve success in the Vertical Transfer Examination conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center).
