About the Program

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology program aims to educate technicians who are responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. These skilled technicians bridge the gap between mechanical engineers and qualified workers, possessing both technical knowledge and practical skills.

Upon graduation, our students are well-prepared to pursue employment opportunities in various sectors. They can find job prospects in hospitals, hotels, authorized service centers, as well as public institutions that require competent professionals in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration.

Graduation Requirements

  • Total: 100 National credits and 120 ECTS
  • Compulsory Internship: 30 working days
  • Duration of training: 2 years

Access to Further Studies

Upon successful completion of the associate degree program students have the opportunity to pursue vertical transfer to various undergraduate programs. To qualify for the transfer, students must achieve success in the Vertical Transfer Examination conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center).
