About the Program
The Electrical Devices Technology Program offers a comprehensive two-year associate degree education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical training. The program aims to prepare technical service personnel capable of maintaining and repairing electrical appliances, particularly household appliances. It also focuses on training intermediate technical staff who can contribute to the production processes of electrical appliances.
Graduates of our program are highly sought after by companies in the white goods sector due to their specialized training in relevant subjects. They possess the necessary skills to meet the industry's demand for technical staff.
Our program benefits from a robust technological infrastructure, including a dedicated Home Appliances laboratory. Additionally, we utilize the well-equipped laboratory facilities of the electrical and electronics programs, as well as computer laboratories, which further enhance the learning experience for our students.
The Electrical Devices Technology Program accepts 30 students in each academic year, providing them with a solid foundation for their future careers in the field.
Graduation Requirements
- Total: 100 National credits and 120 ECTS
- Compulsory Internship: 30 working days
- Duration of training: 2 years
Access to Further Studies
Upon successful completion of the associate degree program students have the opportunity to pursue vertical transfer to various undergraduate programs. To qualify for the transfer, students must achieve success in the Vertical Transfer Examination conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center).
