Abstract Writing Rules

  1.         Abstracts should be written using the application form.
  2.         Abstracts should be between 200-300 words.
  3.         Abstracts should be in Turkish and English. 
  4.         In the abstracts, 3 to 5 keywords should be written to reflect the paper.
  5.         After briefly and concisely describing the framework of the paper in the abstract, the original value and framework of the paper should be mentioned.
  6.         Abstracts written in accordance with the above-mentioned framework should be sent to udim@dicle.edu.tr using the abstract template on the author guide button.

          Note: The name of the university and institute where the author is pursuing his/her graduate education should be indicated in the application form.

Full Text Writing Rules

  1.     .  Full texts should be written using the form prepared for this purpose.
  2.        Participation to the symposium can be in a language other than Turkish. Therefore, full papers can be written in languages other than Turkish.
  3.        The texts to be submitted (abstract or full text) should be written in “Times New Roman” font style.
  4.       The text should be written in 12-point font size (only the main title in 14-point font size) and 1.5 line spacing; footnotes should be written in 10-point font size and 1 line spacing.
  5.       Page size should be A4, orientation should be vertical, page margins should be set as top 3, right 2.5, left 2.5 and bottom 3 cm. Paragraph beginnings should be indented 1.25 cm from the left.
  6.       Only the first letters of the words should be capitalized in all headings including main headings, introduction, conclusion, bibliography.
  7.       Tables, figures and appendices, if any, should be numbered and titled.
  8.       All references mentioned in the text should be arranged alphabetically according to the surname of the author in the references section at the end of the paper.
  9.      The plagiarism rate of the full texts should not exceed 15-20%. (This rate does not include references and citations.)
  10.        All texts should be written in accordance with the footnoted citation principle in the ISNAD Citation System (2nd Edition).
  11.       All religious terms and author names should be in accordance with the spelling in the DİA and should be written consistently throughout the text. Spelling rules and punctuation should be based on TDK. Likewise, TDK should be consulted for other common words.
  12.       Full papers should be prepared in the range of 3000-7000 words and should not have been previously presented elsewhere in written or oral form.
  13.       If the study has been realized with the support of any institution, the name of the institution should be indicated as a footnote at the bottom of the first page
