The Institute of Social Sciences at Dicle University was
established on December 6, 1983, pursuant to Decree Law No. 41 on the
Organization of Higher Education Institutions. In accordance with the Higher
Education Law No. 2547, the Institute’s governing bodies consist of the
Institute Director, the Institute Council, and the Institute Executive Board.
