  • To develop research and development potential by establishing a research and development laboratory infrastructure. 
  • To rapidly and continuously improve the research, development and educational infrastructure in parallel with contemporary and technological advancements.   
  • To establish and periodically renew the basic computer infrastructure across all units of the department in a manner consistent with the primary goal of making computer science a productive force and more closely following developments in computer technology.   
  • To build an interactive educational infrastructure of increasing importance especially for Computer Engineering education, and to provide more effective, efficient and high-quality education through better laboratories, course delivery and instruction in terms of technical hardware, tools and equipment.   
  • To produce projects that will transform generated knowledge into social and industrial benefit, with the aim of contributing to our industry and society.   
  • To further highlight the technological opportunities in our department, which fundamentally incorporates and utilizes computer technologies far more than other engineering disciplines.
