To develop research and development potential by establishing a research and development laboratory infrastructure.

To establish and periodically renew the basic computer infrastructure across all units of the department in a manner consistent with the primary goal of making computer science a productive force and more closely following developments in computer technology.
To build an interactive educational infrastructure of increasing importance especially for Computer Engineering education, and to provide more effective, efficient and high-quality education through better laboratories, course delivery and instruction in terms of technical hardware, tools and equipment.
To produce projects that will transform generated knowledge into social and industrial benefit, with the aim of contributing to our industry and society.
