Was announced in the Official Gazette dated 28 March 2022 and numbered 31082, in order to train qualified health professionals at the international level, who take it as their duty to work for the future and stability of our country in the field of health in accordance with its mission in Dicle University, who know the developments in the world well, respect ethical values and think critically. “Nutrition and Dietetics Department” affiliated to the Atatürk Faculty of Health Sciences was established.
Qualification Awarded
They earn a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and the title of Dietitian.
Admission Requirements
T.C. Students are admitted to the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Foreign students are accepted to the program as a result of the evaluation of their direct applications to the university.
Higher Grade Transition
Candidates who successfully complete their undergraduate education can study in graduate programs in their own fields or related fields, nationally or internationally.
Graduation Requirements
In order for the students to graduate, they must pass all the courses in 8 semesters and earn 240 ECTS and meet the conditions specified in the Dicle University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates can work as clinical dietitian or executive dietitian in hospitals, executive dietitian or community health dietitian in various public institutions and organizations, work in the food industry, individual diet counseling and education centers and/or be employed as academicians.
