Staff Mobility for Teaching
The Erasmus Staff Mobility Program can only be used by the lecturers (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturers). Staff The staff who will benefit from the Mobility of Teaching Lectures are obliged to provide at least 8 hours of training. The staff that will benefit from the Mobility of Teaching is obliged to provide at least 8 hours of teaching. Mobility can be carried out for at least 2 days and at most 2 months, excluding travel. (Due to the intensity of the applications, one week of the activity is funded by our university. The staff can keep the activity longer without a grant).
Mobility needs to be carried out with the partner institutions. In case our staff who wish to attend mobility in a university where our university is not a partner, contact the Erasmus Office of our university to sign an agreement, and necessary actions will be taken to conclude an agreement with the related university.
The selected faculty members must complete their activities and return by September 30.
Our staff who want ”non-Grant Teaching Staff Mobility” can engage in exchange activities without receiving a grant. However, it is necessary to apply to Erasmus Office during the application period.
Application and Selection Process:
In order to apply, all application documents must be submitted to the Erasmus Office during the announcements of the Erasmus Office of the University in the relevant academic year. (Staff who does not submit their documents during the application period cannot benefit from the program even if they have received acceptance).
The evaluation criteria and evaluations announced during the application period will be made and the results will be announced on the Erasmus Office website.
Candidates who are on the main list will submit a letter of acceptance and submit it to Erasmus Office (The "Mobility Agreement" signed by the other institution will be delivered along with the acceptance document).
Candidates who submit their documents apply to get an assignment for the period they will stay from their academic or administrative unit (Institute, Faculty, School, Department, Directorate etc.)
In the assignments, it should be stated that the staff is assigned within the scope of Erasmus + Program and it shoukd be stated in the assignment that travel and daily grants will be granted from the Erasmus + Program).
The staff who have been assigned, should perform the ticketing process and apply to the Erasmus Office to prepare the grant contract at least 30 days before departure.
(a Euro account from Vakıfbank is required to sign the document).
After the signing of the contracts, 80% of the total Grant is send to the staff account before departing abroad.
After the completion of the program abroad, the certificate of attandence (Mobility Agreement and acceptance letter if the original has not been submitted to the Erasmus Office) and original Boarding Passes are delivered to the Erasmus Office.
Finally, after the Training Report is entered into the system, 20% of the Grant payment is made.

*All the documents to be prepared must be taken originally from the parner institution. Staff who provided a scanned version of their documents prior to their departure from abroad are obliged to deliver the original documents to the office upon return. 20% will not be paid to the staff who have missing documents or who do not deliver the original documents.
