Computer Laboratory
Dicle University Silvan Vocational School, located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, is a well-established institution with a qualified academic staff. In response to the rapid developments in the electricity and energy sector in our country, the school recognizes the growing need for skilled personnel and acknowledges the importance of a modern technical infrastructure. The school's focus on education and training is supported by state-of-the-art computer and electrical-electronics laboratories.
By spending more time in the laboratories, students can effectively develop practical applications related to their field of study. Engaging in projects that tackle real-world problems during their education allows students to gain valuable experience and understand the requirements of the professional world at an earlier stage, fostering a strong inclination towards relevant expertise. To facilitate hands-on training, Silvan Vocational School has established two computer laboratories that cater to students from various departments, including Computer Programming, Electricity and Energy, and Child Development. The laboratories are equipped with high-speed internet access, enabling students to utilize the modern facilities outside of classroom hours. Collaborating with their instructors, students work on projects, conduct research, and implement applications within the laboratory setting.
The computers in the laboratory are equipped with software programs used for subjects such as programming, database design, and graphic design. The laboratory plays a vital role in courses related to application development, including Programming Languages, Animation Design, Web Design, Database Systems, Algorithm Design, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, and Web Programming.
