Periodontics

Our department serves Diyarbakır and neighboring provinces with a team of 4 professors, 2 assistant professors, 2 specialist physicians, and 17 research assistants. Our clinic uses ultrasonic instruments, hand tools, and laser technology to provide the highest level of care to our patients. We have 25 units and 3 operating rooms in our clinic, which has a modern and hygienic environment.

Our graduate education program begins in the third year of dental school and continues with theoretical education and practical internships in the fourth and fifth years. We offer a specialty program and a doctorate program to train specialist dentists in the field of periodontology. Our specialty students receive theoretical education, article, case, and seminar presentations, as well as periodontics and dental implantology application trainings, from simple surgical procedures to advanced surgeries.
