History
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dicle University's Faculty of Engineering has been admitting undergraduate students since the 1993-1994 academic year. Starting from the 2011-2012 academic year, admissions to the master's program have also begun. The department encompasses a total of 5 sub-disciplines: Manufacturing and Construction, Thermodynamics, Energy, Mechanics, and Theory of Machines. Additionally, our department houses laboratories for Machining, Welding, Material Mechanics, Internal Combustion Engines, and Cooling Techniques. Quality education is provided in well-equipped classrooms within our faculty's facilities.
Our goal is to educate skilled mechanical engineers who will contribute to the country's development. Our academic efforts in this direction continue to grow and expand.
