HISTORY

Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was established on 11/05/2007 within the framework of Articles 7/d-2 and 7/h of Law No. 2880 and Law No. 2809.

The Faculty started education by recruiting students to the departments of Business Administration and Economics in the 2008-2009 academic year. There are still 5 departments in our faculty; Economics, Business Administration, Political Science and Public Administration, Health Management, and Social Work. Business, Economics, Political Science and Public Administration and Health Management departments are active.

In addition to education at the undergraduate level, our faculty also provides education at the graduate and doctorate level. There are both master's and doctoral programs in Economics and Business Administration. The Department of Political Science and Public Administration only accepts students at the graduate level. There is also a non-thesis master's program in the Department of Business Administration. Studies are continuing to open a master's degree in Health Management.

In our faculty there are 8 Professors, 8 Associate Professors, 20 Assistant Professors, 1 Lecturers, 15 Research Assistants, 16 Administrative Staff and 7 internal service workers. In addition, 2 research assistants who continue their postgraduate education in different universities of Turkey on behalf of our Faculty will be included in our teaching staff in the coming years.

Our faculty also has an academic journal that has been published in international indexes since 2011.

Physical Structure of Our Faculty

Our Faculty consists of 4 main areas: administrative, classrooms, lecture halls and teaching staff.

On the ground floor of the administrative part, there is the document registration and conference hall, on the first floor there is the administrative units, on the second floor there is the dean's and faculty meeting (academic exam) hall.

On the ground floor of the main area between the administrative and teaching staff, there are classrooms, lecture halls (1,2), a student canteen; On the first floor, there are classrooms, lecture halls (3, 4), a library and student study desks; on the second floor, there are undergraduate and graduate classrooms and student study desks.

In the teaching staff section, there are rooms of our teaching staff and department secretariats.

In our faculty there are 4 lecture halls, 18 classrooms, 1 computer laboratory, 1 conference hall for 180 people, 1 meeting room and 1 library.

Social, Cultural and Sportive Life in Our Faculty

Our faculty has a front garden and an inner garden that our students can use in their extracurricular times. In addition, we have student clubs established by our students and carrying out activities in various fields. There are football and basketball teams that represent our faculty in inter-faculty sports competitions and enable our students to participate in sports activities.

Our faculty organizes many scientific and cultural activities every year to contribute to the academic development of our students.
