Professor Seyfettin ASLAN

He was born in Diyarbakır in 1968. After completing his primary and secondary education in Diyarbakır, he entered the Middle East Technical University in 1987 and graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 1992. After working as a teacher at the Ministry of National Education between 1992-1994, he started to work as a Research Assistant at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 1994.

He started his master's degree in 1994 at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 1996 and in the same year at the same institute he started his doctoral program and completed in 2002. After working at various bureaucratic levels between 2003 and 2007, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Kilis 7 Aralik University in 2007. He started his duty at Dicle University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 2009, and became Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor in 2019. Seyfettin ASLAN, who has been working as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Dicle University since December 2020, has been married and has two children.
