PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES (Instructions for Authors)

1. General Principles

Papers submitted to ICOSUWAM-2026 must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions must comply with international academic integrity and ethical standards. The conference accepts Research Papers and Review Papers. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

2. Language

All manuscripts must be written in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring grammatical accuracy and professional language quality prior to submission.

3. Formatting and Page Layout

Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and must comply with the following requirements: • Paper size: A4,  Top and left margin: 3 cm, Bottom and right  margin: 2.5 cm,  Line spacing: 1.5, Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, Text alignment: Justified

• Maximum length: 10 pages (including abstract, tables, figures, and references)

4. Structure of the Manuscript

4.1 Title and Author Information

The title must clearly reflect the content of the study and should be written in 13 pt, bold, and centered. Author names, institutional affiliations, country, and e-mail addresses must be provided. The corresponding author must be clearly indicated.

4.2 Abstract

The abstract must not exceed 300 words and must be written as a single paragraph. It should clearly state the purpose, methodology, main findings, and conclusions of the study. References should not be included in the abstract.

Authors must provide between 3 and/or 6 keywords. Keywords should be separated by commas and listed in alphabetical order.

5. Main Text Organization

Research Papers should include: Introduction; Literature Review; Materials and Methods; Results and/or; Discussion; Conclusion; References.

Review Papers should include: Introduction; Conceptual/Theoretical Framework; Literature Review; Critical Discussion; Conclusions; References.

6. Citation and Referencing Style

In-text citation examples:

• Single author: (Smith, 2020)

• Two authors: (Smith and Brown, 2021)

• Three or more authors: (Smith et al., 2022)

Reference list examples:

Journal Article: Smith, J. A.,  2020.  Sustainable irrigation systems under climate change. Journal of Water Management, 15(2), 120–135. (doi number, if there is)

Book: Brown, L., 2019. Water policy and governance. Springer.

Book Chapter: Green, P.,  2021. Agricultural adaptation strategies. In L. Brown (Ed.), Water and sustainability (pp. 55–72). Routledge.

7. Ethical Standards

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All papers will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Studies involving human participants or animals must include appropriate ethical approval documentation.

8. Submission Process

Authors must submit their full papers through the official ICOSUWAM-2026 submission system (o email addess) before the announced deadline. Papers that do not comply with the formatting requirements may be returned for revision or rejected without review.
