In the Department of Zoology within the Biology Department of Dicle University, there are 6 professors. The faculty members provide services in the fields of Systematic Zoology and Biodiversity, Animal Physiology and Biochemistry, Ecology, Entomology, and Biological Control.
The department houses the Zoology Museum (DÜZOM). Established through the personal efforts of our faculty members in the Biology Department, the museum holds a significant place with its national and international importance, featuring collections of mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, echinoderms, insects, mollusks, and worms.
