History
D. Ü. Faculty of Agriculture Department of Plant Protection was opened in 1995. In the 2002-2003 academic year, students were admitted. Master degree education in the department started in the 1999-2000 academic year. The Ph.D. program has been opened in the 2008-2009 academic year and currently one student is attending the program. Besides, Phytopathology and Entomology Departments were established in 2008-2009 academic year.
