Dicle University School of Civil Aviation was founded on September 23, 1997, by the decision of the Council of Ministers based on the resolution of the Ministry of National Education, dated September 18, 1997, and numbered 25254.

At the School of Civil Aviation, we offer two specialized departments: Aviation Management and Aircraft Maintenance and Repair. The Department of Aviation Management was established following a resolution adopted during the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on May 11, 2011. Similarly, the Department of Aircraft Maintenance and Repair was created as a result of a decision made during the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on February 1, 2017.

The School of Civil Aviation was established to train the managers and technicians needed by the aviation sector, which has been growing rapidly in our country in recent years.
