History

Our vocational school started its education and training in the 1993-1994 academic year with the "Tourism and Hospitality" department. One year later, the "Office Management and Secretarial" department was opened. In the 2007-2008 academic year, the "Tourism and Hotel Management" department was relocated to Diyarbakır Vocational School of Tourism. In place of the relocated department, the "Business Administration" and "Banking and Insurance" departments were opened in the same academic year. Currently, our vocational school continues its education and training activities with 3 departments and around 200 students in Çermik district of Diyarbakır province.

The existence of growth in both regional and national levels in the Banking and Insurance sector creates a positive impact on increasing the employment opportunities for our graduates or future students. The increasing number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) opens up a demand for mid-level managers and assistant personnel, which enhances the chances of our Office Management and Executive Assistantship department students to find employment. Additionally, our graduates who possess the qualifications to meet the personnel needs in the public sector are able to secure positions and be employed in government positions through the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Exam) appointments.
