The objective of this program is to educate technicians capable of working in the establishment, operation, maintenance, project design, and repair of various installations and machinery involved in the production, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy.
Admission to the program is based on the entrance exam conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) score, depending on the quota, and ranking.
Graduates of the Child Development Program may continue their education in the following undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS).
Students are required to complete 120 ECTS credits and achieve a minimum grade of 60 out of 100 in order to graduate.
Graduates of this program have versatile career opportunities, including employment in both public and private organizations or pursuing independent work. They can find employment in various settings such as power plants, substations, factories, machine maintenance and repair, white goods services, project offices, electricity distribution companies, and automation companies. With the acquired qualifications from the Electrical Technologies program, graduates can engage in diverse roles such as electrical works, planning and project management, electrical installation, automation systems, fault detection and distribution in distribution companies, serving as electrical experts in organized industrial zones, motor and transformer management, coiling operations, and even establish their own authorized businesses.
The education period for this programme is 2 years. The language of instruction is Turkish.
