Overview

What is the Mevlana Exchange Program?

The Mevlana Exchange Program is a program that enables the exchange of students and academic staff between domestic higher education institutions providing education within the country and those providing education abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette numbered 28034 on August 23, 2011, the way for student and academic staff exchange between foreign higher education institutions and our country's higher education institutions has been opened.

Unlike other exchange programs, the Mevlana Exchange Program encompasses mobility across all higher education institutions worldwide, without any geographical distinction.

Students who wish to participate in the exchange program can receive education for a minimum of one and a maximum of two semesters. Similarly, academic staff members can benefit from the program by teaching at foreign higher education institutions for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 3 months. Likewise, students and academic staff members from all regions of the world can come to higher education institutions in Turkey.
