Vision

In today's world, substantial resources are being invested worldwide to precisely locate genes, determine identity, and conduct research on the functions within the living systems that constitute biological diversity. In developed countries, modern biology has heavily focused on teaching and fundamental research in the field of molecular biology. Subsequently, biotechnology and other applications of biology have begun to function systematically and efficiently. Therefore, education and instruction in molecular biology have become necessary and essential to specialize in various branches of biology.

In order not to fall behind in this field, Turkey must establish molecular biology departments at its universities that embrace a modern understanding of biology and integrate concepts of education, research, and technology.

Our top priority vision is to continually revise and determine reorganization and goal-reaching strategies in a manner that contributes to this approach. Collaboration between academia and industry, direct and indirect support through initiatives such as participation in international projects, not only enables young individuals in priority research areas for our country but also facilitates academic staff with expertise to contribute.
