History
Established within the Faculty of Science in 2008, the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics commenced its education and instruction in the 2015-2016 academic year by admitting 30 students. With admissions exceeding 50 students in both 2018 and 2019, the total number of department students reached 200. Providing undergraduate and graduate education in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics, which holds a special place and meets the country's needs, is a fundamental aspect of the department's mission.
