History
Our faculty was established as the Faculty of Sciences of Dicle University in 1973 and completed its institutional structure as the Faculty of Arts and Sciences with the inclusion of the Art Department in 1992. However, the education activities of the literature departments started in the 1996 - 1997 academic year. With the closure of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated September 2, 2009, our faculty entered into a restructuring process after gaining an institutional identity as two separate faculties, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts. In our faculty, we serve the departments of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Molecular Biology and Genetics.
