Compulsory Foreign Language (English) Exemption Exam

Students who want to be exempt from the compulsory English course taught in the fall and spring semesters in the 1st grade in all our Faculties and Schools can take the Foreign Language Exemption Exam to be held in the 2nd week of the beginning of each academic year. Students who get enough grades from the relevant exam are exempt from these courses. Please see the attachments for a sample exam.

English Preparatory Class Exemption Exam

Students who want to be exempt from the compulsory preparatory class in the Department of Foreign Languages/English Language Teaching at Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education and the Department of Western Languages and Literature/English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Literature may take this exam. Students who get enough grades from the relevant exam are exempt from the preparatory program.
