Suleyman Dasdag, Ph.D.

Dr. Dasdag was born in Varto in 1961. He was graduated from the Physics Department of Dicle University Science Faculty in 1983. Dr. Dasdag received his master degree in Biophysics from the Health Science Institute of Dicle University, Diyarbakýr in 1986 and also his Ph.D. degree from the Same Institute in 1989. His master and doctora thesis were “Total blood, red blood cell and plasma volumes in lymphomas” and “The effects of microwave on blood parameters such as total protein, and plasma proteins, T3 and T4 hormones” respectively. He worked as a lecturer in Biophysics Department of Medical Faculty of Dicle University between 1989-1992. Dr. Dasdag spent one year (1992-1993) as an Assistant Professor, five years as an Associate Professor (1993,1998) in the same department. Dr. Dasdag has been working as a Full Professor in the Biophysics Department of Dicle University Medical Faculty since 1998.

 

Current areas of interest:

Main research field of Dr. Dasdag is the biological effects of radiation. Most of his articles are in the field of bioeffects of non ionizing radiation.
