ERASMUS + HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAM


Within the scope of the Lifelong Learning Program, which was carried out by the European Commission between 2007-2013 and ended in 2014, the grant supports in the field of higher education continue under the Erasmus + Program between 2014-2020.

The Erasmus + Program aims to provide more effective tools to promote cooperation between different sectors in line with the objectives of the European 2020 Strategy for new needs in the areas of education, youth and sports.

Particularly in the field of higher education, it aims to increase the quality in higher education and to strengthen the cooperation of higher education institutions with each other and with the business world.

This activity under the Key Action 1 (KA1) of the Learning Mobility of Individuals aims to improve the qualifications of students and staff of higher education and to provide them with professional development opportunities abroad. In this context, it is aimed to increase the opportunities of education abroad and to provide the skills needed for transition from education to business life; The following activities are supported for higher education staff in order to gain the knowledge of business practice or to increase pedagogical skills:


Student Mobility: University students studying abroad in a higher education institution or do internship in a company or any institution abroad


Staff Mobility : Academic staff of higher education institutions or a staff working in enterprises can teach at a higher education institution abroad or all academic and administrative staff of higher education institutions can participate in a course / training (excluding conferences) or job shadowing / monitoring for the professional development in an organization abroad .
